random photo: christmas card

I like to design my own Christmas cards. I don't have lots of skills in that area, but it's fun to try. This year I made four different cards and let Sam pick. We'll be mailing the one he chose to our families and friends (therefore, this is not a spoiler), but for all my blog peeps (peeps is a word I'm not allowed to say, according to husband), here is one of the rejected three that I really liked and so declared it the Merry Christmas! As an EXTRA special treat (because you're my peeps, you know) (ha, take that Sam), here is last year's card (done in the early days of learning photoshop, so don't laugh):

The card is only a year old, but the picture is almost two years old, since it's a wedding picture. Which reminds me, I have never once put wedding or engagement pictures on this here blog. This, obviously, is a travesty so maybe I'll get around to doing that in the next few weeks, eh? Would you like that? Don't answer if it's "no."
