Gosh this is getting ridiculous. Let's dive in, shall we?

We inherited a piano from Sam's grandparents. This necessitated much moving around (trial and error style) of the decor, of course.

I replaced the map headboard with an English flag because somebody kept tearing the map (his name is Carter). Also, I'm English. Like, came over on the Mayflower English. Did I know that before I wanted the flag? Maybe, maybe not.

How badly do I need to paint this dresser? (Answer: very)

And finally, the piece de resistance, this life-sized painting of Sam's grandfather we also inherited. He was in a play long ago where the painting came to life. I can't bear to get rid of it, so here it is in our bedroom. Carter affectionately says hello to "Grandpa" whenever he comes in. It's kind of great.
