15 weeks

Maternity shirt: Burlington Coat Factory
Maternity jeans: Old Navy
Shoes: Ross

I don't think I ever said thank you for your sweet comments on the last few posts, which probably makes me a bad person. But I thought thank you over and over. So now I will say it. Thank you all you sweet people!

Sam and I tackled the baby's room on Saturday. It still looks nothing like a baby's room (still a crib not put together, a bunch of books, and now a giant pack of diaper wipes sitting on the floor) but it is emptied of everything that will not be staying there through baby's tenancy. I feel so much better about life now.

We had another doctor's appointment and we scheduled our ultrasound appointment to find out the gender! August 17th. Five weeks away. We are both 99% positive it's a boy (which of course means it will be a girl). We've been calling it Chester since we found out we were pregnant. This may have contributed to my giving in to Sam's assurances that it is a boy. Poor little girl that we call Chester. Who is four inches long now. Huge.

In not baby news, I called the cops on this guy standing in the middle of our parking space when I came home one evening who was absolutely stoned out of his mind. He had no idea what was going on around him at all. This was interesting to me because I don't think I've ever seen a stoned person up close like that before. He was barely keeping himself standing upright. Why some people think drugs are fun, I will never know.

So it's my birthday next week (the big 25) and Sam has been hiding mysterious packages under his nightstand for some time now. This morning a long tube shaped package arrived. I've been able to ignore bags and boxes because anything could be in there so I can easily ignore them. But this tube shaped package! What in the world could it be?!? This may be making me even more curious than the unknown gender of my child.

I love these baby updates, and I can't wait for you to find out what you are having! I think the tube is a poster.

FOUR INCHES?!?!?! i TOLD you your baby was going to be a long one! I hope if it is a boy, you really do name him Chester. It's such a nice name. I can't wait to find out the gender! You look lovely Krista, positively radiant.

I agree with the poster/picture comment. And, I hate creepy guys around my apartment! Good for you for calling the cops on him. I've never actually called the cops...I think I shall try it in the future.

I am glad you called the cops on him too. The only time I ever called the cops in Utah was to help me get into the car I'd locked myself out of. Actually, that happened multiple times. Once with the car running. I'm told helping people who've locked themselves out of their cars is one of the main responsibilities of the BYU Police Force.
