the apartment: kitchen, dining, and living room
Our apartment is one long rectangle, with one long half split up into bedrooms and bathroom and the other half split into kitchen and living/dining. Here is the second half of the rectangle.
The front door/entry:
Do you love this sweet brass light fixture? Someday I hope to spray paint it black, but I'm debating whether I'm going to ask for permission first or forgiveness after.
The dining room:
My collection of bottles and vases.
The kitchen:
We actually love our small galley kitchen. It is so much more efficient than our old one. Every bit of space can be used in this kitchen and it's so much easier to keep the floor clean.
The frame actually functions as a whiteboard for messages.
That is Sam's collection of bottles.
And finally, the living room:
Someday I want a coffee table that is a statement piece and can stand alone with nothing on it. But for now, we have two Ikea side tables that function as a laptop desk.
And there you have it. I'm considering this my housewarming party.

Amazing! Next time you visit you are totally re-doing my living room.
Looks like you really moved up! You have certainly done a great job decorating your little place. Those beginning years in apartments are so much fun. We miss you. Thanks for coming back and your talks were wonderful. Please come visit the ward sometimes so that we can keep track of you guys and what's up with your lives. Sure love ya, Laura
Very nice, Krista. I love the blue suitcases. I am anxious to see the black fixture! -Tony
What a great space! I'm glad you're all settled.
I love that you each have a bottle collection. Now that's some serious compatibility.
Not all renters/owners like black -- but you can buy antique bronze in spray paint! Our gold shiny lights are a thing of the past.
