random photo: new table

We got a new dining table given to us a few weeks ago. Someone gave it to my parents and they gave it to us since they didn't need it. This was a very exciting point in our lives since our old table (seen here) was only big enough to hold four plates and nothing else. Having more than two people over for dinner was pretty impossible and even when we had only two, we had to do it buffet style and serve ourselves from the kitchen. This six person table with lots of space (plus an extra leaf!) makes us feel like real grown-ups. It was pretty scratched up but we put some Howard's Restor-a-Finish on it and it's good as new.
